This is an in-progress project, designing characters and other assets for an in-production podcast. I will be responsible for many creative assets in this project, including but not limited to : animated turnarounds, character concept design, and world concept art.
The project goal was to finish all four of the single toned illustrations of the cast of the Golden Girls. I worked with the client to be sure all the details, such as the individual illustration colors and what each figure would be the saint of. I provided the client with the illustrations within a very tight deadline so they could process the illustrations into altar candle labels.
The client requested “Pin-up styled men,” for a two sided dishwasher magnet. One side is “dirty,” the other, “clean.”
I finished the gents well within the Pride Month deadline. This process included drawing the illustrations as well as hand producing prototypes of the dishwasher magnets.
I illustrated a 50 page adult coloring and activity book. The book included 15 original puzzles that I designed. I created images for t-shirts and separate poster images for the book’s Kickstarter campaign.
I was requested to create a digital logo sample from a provided cell phone photo. The client asked for the logo in two ways, all black, and black with a gray drop for use on their website, their business, cards and stationary.
General cleaning up of the product photography to make it more attractive.
I have a strong grasp of seamless and non-destructive photo editing skills. I am up to date on all programs in the Adobe Suite.
From September 2017 to August 2018, I designed and and drew the A-frame sign for Fuel Coffee in Capitol Hill. I tried to use current drink specials, time of year, and shop events in clever attractive ways.
I designed the original wooden sign for the cafe. This design was applied to merchandise and used as the guide for logo work from 2011 to present.
It is rewarding to have my designs be an integral part of a thriving small business.
I designed the labels for a small Kansas City kombucha brand that was distributed in small grocery stores and cafes in Kansas City for the years 2012-2014.
Being a part of this brand project was a great experience, and their products were genuinely delightful.
A college film production commissioned me to create some magazine covers and book covers for props and background items.
I was given a plot summary, a preferred color palette (reds, and desaturated tones, leaning cool), and was encouraged to lean humorous.
